Take in two large panels created for the Neward Airport in 1936-37 as a WPA project. Titled Aviation, the ten-panel series was the subject of considerable controversy and was subsequently painted over and presumed lost. Rediscovered in 1973, the panels are accompanied by related paintings, studies and drawings as well as documentary photographs and text.

Organized and first presented by the Newark Museum in winter, 1978-79.
