Visit several pieces by Mahmoud Moukhtar (1891-1934), on loan from the Moukhtar Museum of Cairo. He is considered to be the first modern Egyptian sculptor. Flanking the entrance to the exhibition are paintings and sculpture by various artists who have been influenced by Egyptian culture.
