To honor the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers' great accomplishment, more than 30 posters are used to chronicle modern aviation from its earliest inception of balloons and dirigibles (airships) to mono- and biplanes. The exhibition is divided into the following 5 thematic sections: ballooning expositions, the introduction of motorized planes, the unprecedented number of air meets in 1910, the use of flight imagery in advertising, and the role of air transportation up to the outbreak of World War I.

The posters are from the collection of the Allen Airways Flying Museum, El Cajon, California.
