This exhibition examines Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) and 18th-century science. Approximately 35 portraits by Gilbert Stuart, John Singleton Copley, Charles Willson Peale, and others are on view, with many accompanied by scientific objects that can be seen in the paintings.
