On view is a 1997 silver blue "Generation 1" EV1 electric car. Although it was not mass produced, the EV1 represents the automobile industry's attempt to develop fuel efficient and sustainable cars in response to growing concerns about pollution and the use of fossil fuels. This exhibit complements America on the Move.
