This exhibition presents selected works from the growing permanent collection of contemporary and modern works of art in diverse media from all regions of Africa from early to the most recent acquisitions. Works by 32 African modernist pioneers such as Valente Malangatana, Bruce Onabrakpeya, Gerard Sekoto, and Skunder Boghossian accompany those of younger artists like David Koloane, Yinka Shonibare, and Berni Searle.
