On view are paintings by James Gurney, author and creator of the Dinotopia book series that tells the story of an imaginary lost island where humans and dinosaurs coexist in peace and harmony. Also included are a theater featuring an introduction to the new mini-series (aired May 12-14, 2002, on ABC) based on the books and a life-sized model of a dinosaur from the film.
