On view are 191 18th- and 19th-century objects made of skins, bone, wood, bark and quills. Included are headdresses, snowshoes, wampum belts, silver breastplates, war clubs and birch bark containers. (Bo'jou, Neejee: an Ojibwe expression meaning "Hello, friend" was a common greeting in the days of the fur trade.
Organized by the National Museum of Man, Ottawa; based largely on the collection of Arthur Speyer and son of Eltville, Germany.
