The American Quilt Legacy case features pieces from the museum's collection, rotated approximately every 6 months.

This quilt of 40 blocks appliqued with animals was made by Ruth Jones Black Patrick of Montgomery, Alabama. Mrs. Patrick began the quilt when her son Edward was born in 1932 and added to it as he grew; she completed the quilt in 1952.
