This gallery surveys early and current methods of air-traffic control in all weather conditions. Highlights include:

  • Realistically simulated air-traffic-control operations
  • RADAR: the 1st operational civil model of ATC radar
  • Simulated airline cabin-theater allows visitors to follow a flight between Pittsburgh and Washington; the in-flight presentation shows air-traffic-control procedures used to assure safety
