Approximately 135 works of art represent the rich diversity of Akan gold work and royal regalia from Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire in West Africa (primarily from the region formerly known as the Gold Coast). Objects include cast-gold or gold-leaf jewelry, linguist staffs, swords, figurative sculpture, and other regalia.
