- At the National Zoological Park Panda House, keeper-leader Barbara Bingham focuses a T.V. camera on Ling-Ling nuzzling her stillborn cub. The infant was born at 10:30 p.m., August 5, 1984. Zoo keepers and Friends of the National Zoo Panda watchers have been observing Ling-Ling since June 18, when the pregnancy watch started.
