Descriptive Entry: This accession consists of records which document major special events at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), such as the opening of the Cultural Resources Center, the groundbreaking ceremony for the NMAI building on the Mall, the NMAI Welcome Center opening, the Topping Out Ceremony for the NMAI building on the Mall, and the National Powwow in 2002.
