This bilingual exhibition examines the relationship between local culture, traditional knowledge, and sustainable environment in the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo basin. Objects, videos, and 17 vignettes tell the stories of different communities and people in the region: shrimpers and ranchers, sheepherders and cowboys, brickmakers and adobe builders, and pinata makers and weavers. Interactive areas featuring a roping dummy and polka dancing.
