On view are more than 300 works, all created during a period when Americans identified themselves as spiritual heirs of the European Renaissance, especially that of 15th- and 16th-century Italy. Included are architectural models, plans, drawings, photographs, paintings, murals, sculpture, glass, bookbinding, jewelry, furniture, fabrics, and wallpaper.
