NMAAHC’s set of microservices are under continual development for the purpose of processing digital audiovisual collections at the Museum. They are based on a set of microservices developed for use at CUNY Television. These microservices borrow both concepts and code from those scripts, which are available in the mediamicroservices GitHub repository. Like CUNY TV's original mediamicroservices, these microservices are written in Bash, developed and tested for a macOS environment, and installed and run using the terminal application.
