Office of Policy and Analysis
  • The Office of Policy and Analysis provides the Institution with an in-house, independent and objective analytical capability to develop timely and accurate information as an aide in decision making. Studies cover complex topics such as exhibitions, collections, boards and commissions, programs and services as well as surveys of visitor and program participants. Study results and recommendations are used as a basis for strategic and operational planning and to develop performance indicators or measures of progress.
  • The office is also involved in professional development and the facilitation of meetings. Staff members have degrees in a social science related discipline with coursework in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
