This list is not all-inclusive. Some art conservators do perform doll conservation and restoration. For example, some objects conservators specialize in the conservation or restoration of porcelain and ceramics; textile conservators would be able to conserve or restore doll clothes. Conservators are generally highly trained specialists and their fees will normally be much higher than a doll repair shop. They will also be able to advise you on the proper storage of your dolls. You can also try your yellow pages for doll repair shops or doll hospitals in your area.
