Hurricane on the Bayou takes viewers on a breathtaking tour of one of the most vibrant places in America, the Louisiana bayou and the city of New Orleans, a place overflowing with life, music and natural beauty. Hurricane on the Bayou offers an emotional portrayal of this environmental calamity and the staggering effects of Hurricane Katrina.
Visit the Sant Ocean Hall at the National Museum of Natural History. Hurricanes derive their initial energy from the ocean’s surface. Come to the Hall to expand your knowledge on oceans! There you can learn more about the quality of oceans and see some of the creatures that live down in the depths of the ocean floor.
