On view is a variety of fabrics produced by contemporary fiber artists on the Jacquard loom, a standard industrial machine in use since the early 19th century. Organized by Rhode Island School of Design; supplemented with traditional Jacquard-woven fabrics from the Cooper-Hewitt collection.
