Featuring more than 600 masterworks from all 31 states of the Mexican Republic, this exhibition offers a comprehensive view of the most exceptional contemporary folk art of Mexico. Nearly 200 master artists draw from their ancestral traditions, dating back more than 1,000 years in some cases. The artists employ a vast array of materials, including clay, wood, straw, leather, feathers, silk, cotton, metals, and stone.
