This 10th-anniversary exhibition features newly acquired classical African art from the 19th and 20th centuries, honoring the collection-building legacy of Sylvia H. Williams, who was the museum's director from 1983-1996. Objects include 19 recent gifts, a set of 12 gold weights, and 3 promised gifts, given to the museum between 1995 and 1997.
