This 40-year survey is the most comprehensive exhibition of paintings of this highly influential German artist (b. 1932) ever seen in North America. Over 120 canvases of landscapes, portraits, and other photo-based paintings, as well as gestural abstractions, show his mastery of many genres and investigation of mass media.
