Smithsonian American Art Museum

1st Floor, Northwest, Granite Gallery Floor Plan

This exhibition features 42 paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) and 54 photographs by Ansel Adams (1902-1984) that reveal their deep commitment to the American landscape. The exhibition, the first to pair these artists, explores how they intensely focused their attention on beauty in nature and transformed these elements with color and tone.

Organized by the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.
