See 70 posters by post-WWII avant-garde artists that focus on theater as a vehicle for innovations in graphic design in Japan in the 1960s and 70s. At this time, artists began to deliberately mix elements of Western popular culture with Japanese traditions. Designers represented include Tadanori Yokoo and Hirano Koga. Organized by the Krannert Art Museum, University of Illinois at Urbana-Campaign.
