Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center (SEEC)

Nestled in the nation’s capital in the richest museum complex in the world is the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, a model early childhood program that places children at the center of every experience. The vast collections are the foundation for the culturally diverse curriculum, which offers a rare opportunity for learning.

Mission

SEEC is a separately incorporated 501(c)3 housed at the Smithsonian Institution. The mission of the SEEC is two-fold: to provide a high-quality educational program for young children, and to advance educational opportunities for all children by sharing SEEC’s expertise on a national level, thereby furthering the education mandate of the Smithsonian Institution.
