Current or Projected Exhibits
Designing a National Identity, (exhibition scheduled for 2006, co-curated with Gail S. Davidson, Associate Curator) Featuring more than 125 works on paper, paintings, photographs and decorative arts objects from the museum's collection, the exhibition will focus on three interlocking and conflicting constructs of the nineteenth century: the pastoral ideal, the Western frontier and land conservation.
