The following is a list of the applicants who were appointed as a result of the 2006 Smithsonian Institution Postgraduate Fellowship in Conservation competition. This list includes the names of the institutions from which they received their degrees, the title of the conservation project undertaken at the Smithsonian, the name of their advisor, the Smithsonian unit at which the project was conducted, and the dates of their tenure.

Owczarek, Nina S., New York University. Treatment and Study of Objects in the Walt Disney-Tishman African Art Collection at the National Museum of African Art, at the National Museum of African Art with Steven Mellor and Stephanie Hornbeck from October 15, 2006 through October 14, 2007.
