- Summary
- A 19:1 scaled replica of Frederic Auguste Bartholdi's sculpture "Liberty Enlightening the World." A female figure, representing Liberty, stands wearing a long robe and a headpiece. Her proper right arm is raised, holding a lit torch. Her proper left arm cradles a tablet. The sculpture is mounted atop a three-part base composed of a center base inscribed with a dedication to the veterans of Green County, which is flanked by two panels inscribed with the names of those who lost their lives in World War I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Persian Gulf War. The center base is tiered on each side at the top. A wreath appears on the top front of the center base.
