This half-day course will focus on the practical aspects of cold storage for photograph and film collections: from international cold storage standards, to building and maintaining a facility, to deciding the temperature and humidity set levels, and protecting the cultural property best suited for storage in cool and cold environments. Experts in the management of photograph and film materials will present lectures, and a tour of a cold storage vault is included.
