Registration is now open for the upcoming Smithsonian Climate Change Research Symposium to be held May 24-25, 2011.

Pre-registration is required! Registration is free of charge, but space is limited. Deadline for pre-registration is May 13, 2011, 5:00PM.

Please consider joining your colleagues in this two-day symposium where invited Smithsonian researchers will present their work on climate change and the effects of the world’s changing environment on ecosystems and biodiversity. Speakers and poster topics will focus on a variety of climate change topics including causes of climate change, global climate and atmospheric monitoring, modeling climate changes, physical effects of climate change on the marine and terrestrial realm, biological interactions with climate, and the effects of climate change on Earth’s flora and fauna. All Smithsonian personnel are welcome to join us in discussing these important issues.
