Abstract DNA BARCODING AND BIOTECHNOLOGY RESOURCES AT MSN SITES Lee A. Weigt, Amy Driskell, Jeff Hunt, Andrea
Ormos and Chris Meyer The Laboratories of Analytical Biology (LAB) at the NMNH provide
kits and instrumentation to enable molecular research at all MSN
sites. This poster presents what options are available at what locations,
contact lists, and brief summaries of the capabilities of the various
options. Included in this are portable, field kits for tissue collection,
DNA extraction, and DNA barcoding. Solutions are tailored to meet
individual need, from small scale through expeditionary collections.
The LAB staff is available for consulting on all aspects of project
planning and implementation. Plans for web-based access to protocols
and procedures will be previewed.
