Office of Advancement Internships
Are you a student who is considering a career in fundraising?
The Smithsonian’s Office of Advancement offers internship opportunities that can provide you with an outstanding, real-world foundation for your future career. As an intern, you will work within a specific department, and have the chance to interact with professionals across the Institution.
Undergraduate and graduate internships are offered throughout the year. Academic credit may be arranged through your school.
Internship opportunities are filled as-needed in the following areas:
- Programming and Stewardship
- Corporate/Foundation Relations
- Prospect/Donor Development
- Prospect Management
- Planned Giving
