SMITHSONIAN CHAMBER MUSIC PROGRAM presents historically informed performance on the Smithsonian's world-renowned collection of musical instruments.

The collection is the basis for a broad range of activity, including scholarly research, performances, educational outreach, broadcasts, written publications, and documentary recordings. Drawing on the expertise of an unparalleled group of curators, performers, music and cultural historians, instrument builders and conservators, the Smithsonian Chamber Music Program is the largest museum undertaking of its kind in the world.
