Portrait Gallery presents an evening with world-renowned poet and educator Nikki Giovanni. In an interview conducted by playwright Jennifer L. Nelson, Giovanni examines her life and work as a poet, her observations on hip hop culture, and her recently published books Hip Hop Speaks to Children and Lincoln and Douglass. Book signing follows.
