Discovery Theater Performance
(for ages 6-12) Mike Offutt is a "mad scientist" and Presidential Award winner and his experiments are bigger, bolder, and better than ever. This rock `n' roll science guy demonstrates the basic tenets of science while making us ask, "Hey, how'd he do that?" You can't help but laugh and learn!

When the so-called Gospel of Judas was published by the National Geographic Society in April 2006, it was immediately heralded as a major biblical discovery. Today, Elaine Pagels (professor of religion, Princeton) reflects on this text and considers how the text provides a window into understanding how some of the early Christians viewed Jesus' death. Perhaps no international relationship is more promising, or challenging, than the one between the United States and the People's Republic of China. This evening, His Excellency Zhou Wenzhong (China's distinguished ambassador to the United States), the Honorable Charlene Barshefsky (former U.S. trade representative), and the Honorable J. Stapleton Roy (former U.S. Ambassador to China, Singapore, and Indonesia) discuss a broad array of issues -- from trade and finance to regional and global security -- that will be of vital importance to both countries and to the entire world. The Honorable Walter L. Cutler (former U.S. Ambassador) moderates.
