TIMELINE: SCHEDULING STRATEGIES FOR PRESERVATION OF PAPER-BASED COLLECTIONS #C98-07

The Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education is pleased to announce the sixth series of the Research, Libraries, and Archives Collections Conservation Task Force (RELACT) program.

This is a half-day meeting with case studies about preventive conservation projects at the Smithsonian Institution.

Topics include a preservation management project for moving collections to the National Underground Storage (OSIA); and preventive conservation projects applied to the O.C. Marsh Dinosaur Illustrations (Paleobiology Department, NMNH) and the American Indian Art Collection (Anthropological Archives, NMNH).
