Groups can also book reservations online or via fax or email using the group reservation PDF form. Completed forms should be faxed to 202-633-7192 or emailed to groupsales@si.edu. Confirmations will be sent upon receipt.

Smithsonian $10 & $15 Food Voucher

Meal vouchers are valid at the National Museum of the American Indian, along with the National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of American History, American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian Castle. Vouchers are good for the full face value against any food items purchased. Includes a soft drink or bottled water. No change given and if face value is exceeded, patron agrees to pay the difference including tax. Vouchers expire 9/29/2012. No refunds or exchanges.

½ slice of pizza on whole wheat crust, all-beef hot dog, or peanut butter & jelly

Dinner at the Smithsonian

For groups of 100 or more, dinner menus are offered from 3pm – 6pm. The time chosen by the patron will dictate which venue will be utilized.

American Grill
Choice of: hamburger, cheeseburger, veggie burger or hot dog
Baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, or fries
Key lime pie or banana pudding

Chefs Table Menu
Choose two entrées: caesar or field green salad, baked rigatoni, spinach, ricotta, & tomato basil maple glazed roast pork loin, lemon & herb roasted chicken, peppercorn crusted roasted beef, chocolate & fudge layer cake or seasonal fruit tarts, soft drink or bottled water

Theaters

Samuel C. Johnson IMAX® Theater
Groups of 10 or more receive discounted tickets to any daytime education film at the Johnson IMAX Theater. Groups receive one complimentary ticket per every 20 purchased (excludes bulk vouchers). Groups of 10 or more can also purchase bulk tickets good for any daytime show at any one of our three IMAX theaters.

IMAX and Planetarium On-Demand
View a special morning screening of your favorite IMAX film or Planetarium show at Smithsonian Theaters. IMAX and Planetarium On-Demand screenings are offered for groups of 20 or more (10 for Title 1 Schools) every morning at 9:30 am. Minimum one-week notice required to book dates, film choices are subject to availability.

Live! Butterfly Pavilion

Butterfly + Plants: Partners in Evolution

Take a stroll among live butterflies and exotic plants! This tropical oasis offers visitors a rare opportunity to get close to a variety of living butterflies from all over the world. Purchase tickets in advance to avoid sold out time-slots. Tickets are required and are timed-entry at 15-minute intervals, 40 tickets per timeslot. One chaperone per 10 students is required to enter the Pavilion.

The Butterfly Pavilion is a brightly lit space filled with living plants and many different butterflies. The climate-controlled environment is kept at 80°F, and 80% humidity. It is handicap accessible. However, neither strollers nor tripods are permitted in the space.
