Courtyard Café
The Courtyard Café reflects the Smithsonian’s artistic vision through a unique menu that highlights seasonal ingredients and sophisticated flavors. Selections include sandwiches, salads and desserts.

Dining Dollars Food Vouchers
Available in denominations of $10, $12, $15 or $20, Dining Dollars are good for face value and can be used towards the purchase of any food item and include a complimentary soft drink.
No change given. If value is exceeded, patron agrees to pay difference, including tax.

Kids Meal Vouchers (Bulk) $5.50 each
Discounted meals are available for kids ages 12 and under.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich served with whole fruit and 20 oz. bottled soft drink, water or milk.

For Dining Dollars and Kids Meal Vouchers, the following restrictions apply:
Discount available for advanced sales only, not valid for same day purchases. Minimum order of 10, no complimentary vouchers issued. No reserved seating. Vouchers expire 9/26/15. 2015 vouchers can be exchanged for 2016 vouchers. To qualify for exchange, Smithsonian Group Sales & Reservations office must receive unused vouchers no later than 9/24/15.

Traditional Meal $14 each
One sandwich selection per 10 meals.

  • Oven-Roasted Turkey Breast with Vermont Cheddar Cheese and Apple Cranberry Butter
  • Chicken Caesar Salad with Romaine Lettuce and Parmesan Cheese
  • Classic Tuna Salad with Applewood-Smoked Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato
  • Grilled Chicken with Granny Smith Apples and Fontina Cheese
  • Grilled Wild Mushrooms with Roasted Red Peppers and Onion Jam*
  • Grilled Eggplant with Roasted Red Peppers, Tomatoes, Black Olives, Cucumbers and Hummus*

    All sandwiches served on selection of artisan breads, rolls, or wraps. Served with whole fruit, individual bag of chips, Chef’s selection of house made cookie or brownie and bottled water.

    Gourmet Meal $18 each

    Gourmet Meals include the same sandwich options as the Traditional Meal (listed above), and are served with pasta salad, whole fruit, individual bag of chips, Chef’s selection of house made cookie or brownie and bottled water.

    Gourmet Salad Meal $18 each
    One salad selection per 10 meals.

  • Sliced Grilled Chicken with Caramelized Cipollini Onions and Toasted Almonds
  • Marinated Flank Steak with Baby Greens, Red Onion and Roasted Tomatoes

    Conference Sandwich Buffet $20 per person

  • Wine and Cheese Happy Hour $19 per person
    Take a break from 3-4 p.m. to enjoy an afternoon wine and cheese happy hour at the Smithsonian.

    Savor a selection of artisan and local hand-crafted cheeses while you sip premium American wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Nior and Cabernet Sauvignon. Served with membrillo, dried fruits and rustic breads. Sparkling and still water also available.

    Also available at the National Museum of American History, National Museum of Natural History and the National Museum of the American Indian.

    Wine and Cheese Happy Hour and Conference Sandwich Buffet must be booked at least 72 hours in advance and have a minimum of 40 guests.
