Location: 2nd floor
This show features over 140 sculptures and large-scale installations by 14 artists who were part of a loose-knit movement known as Arte Povera ("poor art"), which propelled Italy to the center of the international art scene during the 1960s with its singular fusion of process, materials, politics, and conceptual strategies. Artists Mario Merz, Jannis Kounellis, and Michelangelo Pistoletto are among those represented.
