Sean Scully (b. 1945) is an internationally acclaimed artist who has been instrumental in reinvigorating abstraction over the past two decades. In 2001, he gave the museum a master set of his prints, the only complete set in an American museum. This exhibition features 50 prints, portfolios, and artists' books to celebrate his generous gift to the museum and explore recurring themes in his work.
