Learn through 87 drawings, 16 reproductions of drawings, 22 photographs, 9 models, and 3 mock-ups how leading American architects are making use of decorative motifs from classical architecture. Among the 24 architects represented are Michael Graves, Philip Johnson, Rodolfo Machado, Charles Moore, Jorge Silvetti, Robert A.M. Stern, and Robert Venturi. Designs range from those for various types of private homes to a suburban office park.
