Museum: Freer Gallery of Art
Location: Ground Floor
This exhibition showcases 23 of the most beautiful of Whistler's small oil paintings -- many produced in his studio or from nature. Highlights include several street scenes completed near his London home, a strikingly abstract nocturne of the Thames, a wonderful series of seascapes completed in the Cornish fishing village of St. Ives, and several studies of young female models.
