- Get Involved
September 17, 1985 – December 8, 1985
Location: Ground Floor, Design Gallery
On view are 141 photographs by an innovative American photo-journalist who worked in Paris in the 1920s. Selected from hundreds in the Cooper-Hewitt's Bonney archives, the images document the evolution of Parisian architecture, interiors, and design after the Watershed Exposition des Arts Decoratifs in 1925. Included are photographs of windows and facades of small businesses and giant department stores, of residential interiors, and of furniture.
