From misty rainforests to remote mountain ridges, from dense woodland to open meadows, the beauty and diversity of orchids is captivating. v The annual orchid exhibition, a collaboration between the Smithsonian's Horticulture Services Division and the U.S. Botanic Garden, alternates location between the two.
