Featuring an international mix of architecture, product design, fashion, and media, the exhibition highlights a current generation of hotels that meet tourists' demands for entertainment and business travelers' needs for offices on the road. It showcases developments in contemporary hotel design with full-scale models, drawings, computer renderings, products, and photographs, as well as objects for historical context. Contemporary artworks that critique and comment on the cultural role of hotels are also included.
