Miracles Under the Waves: Photographic Art of Akiyoshi Ito

On view are 34 photographs taken by Japanese photographer and artist Akiyoshi Ito that reveal the vibrant colors and diverse forms of life in coral reefs around the world. To complement the photographs, also on view is Scientific Diving: A Coral Reef Research Tool, a small exhibition featuring objects and a video that explores the important research done by the Smithsonian.
