Microbes: Invisible Invaders...Amazing Allies

This exhibition tells the story of microbes (germs) -- the smallest forms of life on Earth -- and explores the history of infectious diseases, as well as shows how researchers and individuals fight infection worldwide. The original mold from Sir Alexander Fleming's 1928 discovery that led to the manufacture of penicillin is on view in the exit corridor.

The exhibition is sponsored by Pfizer Inc. and produced by BBH Exhibits in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health.
