To reveal how the museum has augmented and expanded its contemporary holdings during the last century, this exhibition shows the shifts in the museum's collecting across a range of mediums, arranged chronologically, from furniture to textiles to graphic design. Included are works by such renowned 20th-century designers as Paul Frankl, Rene Herbst, Herbert Matter, Sheila Hick, George Nakashima, Anzolo Fuga, and Philippe Starck.
