On view in an exhibition which explores the visual and conceptual basis for Cornell's art are 50 boxes, collages, 3-D objects, dossiers, and designs on loan from private and public collections. These are augmented by 165 prints, photographs, books, magazines, and 3-D ephemera once owned by Cornell and drawn principally from NMAA's Joseph Cornell Study Center and the Archives of American Art.
